A lot of game players are looking forward to these two game consoles. Although they are already officially released for a while, some people are still evaluating which one is more suitable for them. In order to create true and delicate game scenes for players, both consoles used “Unreal Engine 5” this year, which is very topical. What is the difference, and how do players choose between these two consoles?
- Hardware:
Xbox SX concentrated its mainframe advantage on “performance” this year, while PS5 concentrated on “reading” Both have benefits of their own. The PS5 and Xbox SX CPUs both use the new generation of Ryzen ” Zen 2 ” CPUs from AMD. It is possible between the Ryzen 7 3700X and 3800X on the PC in terms of the 8-core 3.5-3.8GHz requirements, but the precise specifications are tailored for the game console’s needs. It is already a mid-level or higher specification, judging from the latest mainstream PC equipment in the industry. A fixed power supply + variable operating clock mode is adopted by the PS5, and the operating clock is up to 3.5GHz. Xbox SX uses a fixed operating clock mode which, after turning on SMT, is set to 3.8GHz without SMT on, and reduced to a fixed 3.66GHz. The CPU core performance of the Xbox SX can be found to be better than that of the PS5. Also, as for storage, Xbox SX has 1TB which is more than PS5 (825GB).
- Price:
Both PS5 and Xbox SX cost $500. However, Xbox SX has significantly different hardware from the Xbox SX: a less-powerful GPU, a smaller SSD, less RAM, and so forth. Therefore, Xbox SX is actually more durable.
- Games:
Xbox SX features in downward compatibility. You can also play the first generation of Xbox, but you can get better pictures faster speed while playing. On the other hand, PS5 is only compatible with PS4. Yet, PS5 has more exciting games such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Astro’s playroom.
