Game releases – July 2021

What to expect?

The whole world watches the Euro 2020 right now, some fan favourites like France and Portugal didn’t make the cut and can’t compete for the trophy anymore. Nevertheless, July has some exciting new games waiting for us. As usual, we highlight three games for you. Curious what games will be released? Scroll down to see the whole list.

Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game

Back in 1996 the first movie of Space Jam hit the cinemas. Michal Jordan played alongside the famous Looney-Tunes. Warner Bros wanted to do a sequel to the movie. However, Michal Jordan refused to return to the movie. There were plans to have spin offs including Tiger Woods and Tony Hawk but those plans never succeeded. Back in 2014 it was officially announced that there would be a sequel including LeBron James. It took 5 years before they begin to film and now the film will be officially released. Xbox collaborates with Warner Bros on the Space Jam title. Not only the game will be released, but there will also be Space Jam themed controllers. The game will look like an old school pixel game. The trailer shows how LeBron handles fights with robots alongside Bugs Bunny.

Key futures about the game are:

Uncover a Fascinating Story & Characters
‘’The Empress’ plot to destroy the world is complex and layered. Use your wits and recruit powerful allies throughout the world to uncover and undo her multi-faceted web and make your way to the True Ending of this enchanting tale.’’

Eldest Souls

Set in a grim, dark fantasy world, Eldest Souls breathes new life into the genre by combining boss-rush gameplay with a high degree of combat customization. The innovative combat mechanics are quick to pick up, but difficult to really master, providing unique layers of complexity and challenging boss battles that bring new impetus to the Souls-like genre.

Relentless Ancient Gods: Defeating gods is no easy task. Prepare for overwhelming battles that only the most brutal warriors will come out of alive.

A Dying World: Explore and discover the mysterious Citadel, the prison of the Ancient Gods. Something dark has taken up residence in this forgotten monument.

An increasing challenge: Each battle with the Ancient Gods will present you with a unique, new challenge. Amass their powers, unlock various talents and skills and complete them all.

Lightning-fast action: Use a spectacular combat system where every move counts.

Eldest Souls will be quite a challenge to master and will be available on all consoles on the 29th of July.
