New month, new games! Some great games are waiting for us in April, we outline the games we are most excited for! If you think we missed a big name let us know so we will be able to add it to the list! But for now, here are some upcoming releases of the games in April.
Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut will be released on April 8th. Gearbox announced that their DLC for Borderlands 3 would launch on March 18th however, due to circumstances it will be released on April 8th. The new DLC add a new raid boss, multiple murder missions and new challenges. A big addition to the Director’s Cut DLC is Hemovorous the Invincible. Gearbox describes her as one of the greatest end-game challenges in the game. You need to complete the campaign story before being able to find and fight her, but it promises it would be a hell of a fight
The Show 21, 20th of April, the most famous baseball game has a new edition MLB The Show 21. It will feature a few new game modes for every version of the game including an updated Franchise mode and a new March to October game mode, that will allow players to skip through moments of the season in order to play out the postseason games to secure a championship. Along with the Franchise and March to October modes, the Diamond Dynasty game mode will allow players to collect player cards to use in line-ups of their dream teams. Unlike the EA sports titles with Ultimate Team, MLB The Show 21 players can earn player cards through regular gameplay across many modes.
New Pokémon snap. Ever wanted to take pictures of your favourite Pokémon? With the new Pokémon Snap™ game, only for the Nintendo Switch™ it is possible on April 30. You can make photos of Pokémon in the wild and spot some rare and unexpected behaviour. Watch Pokémon guard their territory or try to hide themselves. Explore unknown island and get a snap of every Pokémon you wil.
Returnal. A space pilot, who is stranded on the alien planet Atropos, and stuck in a time loop is equipped with a suit and armed with high-tech weapons. Returnal is a third person shooter set in a science fiction setting. As a player you operate as Selene. After every death, Selene is resurrected, following a pattern of traversing across foreign environments and combating extraterrestrial entities with growing visions in an ever-changing world. The game was initially scheduled for a release on March 19, 2021. On the 28th of January 2021, it was announced the release date was pushed back a month to April 30, 2021.
